In order to be able to process your order as quickly and easily as possible, we would like to provide a few tips on the procedures. Please contact us for further information on handling and invoicing.

Placing an order

Please enter the following information on the dispatch order for private patients:

• Issuing doctor, barcode (he receives the report)
• Patient name, address and date of birth (for assessment and invoicing)
• Tests required
• Date and time of blood withdrawal
• History, symptoms and medication
• Patient's signature, since under certain circumstances processing is not possible

For persons with statutory health insurance, we require the referral/accounting slip for laboratory tests (form 10) containing the following information:

• Issuing doctor, barcode (he receives the report)
• Name box completed in full (incl. insurance number, validity of insurance card, health insurer number)
• Tests required
• Date and time of blood withdrawal
• History, symptoms and medication

Quantity of blood

Please calculate roughly 1 - 2 ml whole blood per hormone; for complete status we require 20 ml blood (2 full blood collecting tubes). Please centrifuge the tubes and separate the serum if tubes with gel separation are not being used. Serum is essential for serotonin.

Labelling and transportation

Please firmly seal the blood collecting tubes with a stopper and label them with the patient's name. The quickest way is to send them by post. In this case please place the sealed tubes in the red plastic container and hand it over to the post office in the transport box with the dispatch order. We will accept the fees for postage of a maxi envelope.

For legal reasons, please only label the blood/serum tubes and NOT the shipment tubes! It is extremely important to enter the patient data and diagnoses legibly - ideally by computer - on the relevant order forms.
